This bird watching in North India tour is an attempt to capture the beauty of Fauna in India and to etch its memories in the travel book of our hearts.

Enjoy 11 days of complete abandonment and relaxation while we take you to some of India’s most beautiful places which are home to thousands of beautiful animals and birds. We are sure that it will leave a mark on your memory and your mind. Though we would be meeting a mix of fauna our major focus in this tour would be to get you acquainted with the wide variety of flying wonders from the bird kingdom.

This tour has been carefully designed to give you a taste of the exciting, endless possibilities and can be tailored to suit your exact preferences.

You will be received by our representative at the Delhi Airport and would be assisted to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the nearby locations to get a feel of the neighborhood. Relax and rest while you can, because we assure you the next few days would be packed with excitement and fun.

Post breakfast, we would be driving you to Agra. There, after a break for lunch, we will be visiting one of the seven wonders of the world. The white glory of India, The Taj Mahal is the perfect place to start our journey. Built in white marble, it has stood the tests of time and never failed to astound its spectators. After spending some time in the Taj Mahal, we would continue our journey towards Keoladeo National Park. There you would be checked in at the lodge and the rest of the day is at your disposal to roam around at leisure. Your actual birdwatching in India would start from tomorrow.

Today the day starts early for us as we go into the park to look at the birds calling out to us! For the next two days we would be early risers to greet the birds. Keoladeo National Park is one of the finest places for bird watching. It is a host to over 375 species of birds and many more migratory birds during winter. It used to be a duck hunting reserve of the Maharajas of Rajasthan and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Today after spending two days in Keoladeo National Park, travel back to New Delhi. We would stop in Okhla Barrage to birdwatch. This place is known for its bird variety and birding enthusiasts in India flock this place to see birds which can’t be otherwise spotted in the city.

The rest of the day would be for you to relax.

After breakfast, we would head towards one of the largest National Parks of India, The Jim Corbett National Park. Your accommodation would be arranged at a resort near the national park. The whole day is at your disposal to relax and roam around. A good rest is advised because we would be having an early day tomorrow.

It is safari day today! Early in the morning, we would drive you to Dhikhala Range for bird watching in North India. This would be your place of stay for the next two days. Post breakfast, you would be taken on a jeep safari and you would be getting an opportunity to get acquainted with many birds. After this is lunch time accompanied by a nature walk along Ramganga Lake with a nature guide who would be familiarizing you with various birds and its habitat. Take rest. The next day is also going to be packed with action.

On the 8th day, post breakfast we set out on an elephant safari to spot rare and exotic birds. You might get lucky with some not-so-usual species like the Blue Throated Barbet, Chestnut-tailed Minla, White-capped Redstart, Great Crested Grebe, Crested Honey Buzzard and the Dusky Crag Martin. Elephant safari is an excellent means to birding and to cruise around the forest without making a lot of noise or disturbance. Also, the height would prove to be a plus for us.

After a morning game drive, we would be bidding adieu to the birds in Jim Corbett National Park. Moving on to our next place of action, we would be driving you to Pangot, a premium bird watching destination in Uttarakhand, around 155.9km from Jim Corbett National Park. Having close proximity to Nainital, this place is known for its scenic beauty and its huge variety of birds like Spotted & Slaty-backed Forktail, Rufous-bellied Niltava and woodpecker, Khalij pheasant and Himalayan Griffon. We would be bird watching post lunch and drinking the beauty of the place.

The day starts pretty early today and we would straight away head for a morning nature walk and bird watch for some time and soaking in the early morning sunrise. You would have your breakfast and then we will be driving towards Sat Tal which is around 39 km from Pangot. Our drive would be through the forested Cheena Peak Range and through Snow View Point and Kilbury.

This place is home to birds like Red-billed Blue Magpie, Grey and Brown-capped Pygmy Woodpecker, Crested Serpent Eagle, Flycatchers, Cheer Pheasants and Dollarbirds.

Today after breakfast, we would leave to New Delhi, where you can spend the whole day relaxing and exploring around after checking-in to the hotel. Lots of shopping time, maybe!

Today after breakfast, you can spend time exploring around after which you will be checking-out from your hotel and you will be dropped to the Delhi airport to board your flight home.
