16 Days / 15 Nights

This India itinerary for 3 weeks has been carefully designed to give you a taste of the exciting, endless possibilities and can be tailored to suit your exact preferences.

You will be arriving early in the morning and will be received by our representative at the Delhi Airport. We will be helping you in checking-in into the hotel. After a brief rest, we would embark on a sight-seeing tour to the streets of New and Old Delhi paying visit to India Gate, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, etc. Be sure to do lots of shopping while you are sight-seeing.

Today we would be driving you to Jaipur on your heritage tour of India, the capital of Rajasthan and also known as the Pink City. You would be seeing the Amber Fort on the way to Jaipur. After arriving Jaipur, we would go on a city tour visiting the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Observatory.

On the 3rd day morning, we would be driving you to Sawai Madhopur from Jaipur. We would be visiting the Ranthambore National Park there. You would be checked-in to a resort near the National park where you can freshen up. In the evening we would foray into the national park. This park was established in the year 1955 as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary and declared as a tiger reserve in the ’73. It became a National Park in 1980 and has a spread of 392sq.km.

The next two days would be spent exploring Ranthambore National Park and its flora and fauna. We would be looking mainly for tigers and other desert species like the desert fox, Caracal, Palm Civet, Fishing cat, etc. There are many birds also to look out for.

Today we would go on a morning drive through the jungle before moving to our next destination-The Keoladeo National park. Known for its rich variety of rare and exotic birds, this place is a treat for bird watchers. Eurasian spoonbills, Great egret, painted storks, Greater Painted-snipe, Black-headed Ibis, Black Bittern and waterfowls are some commonly found bird variety here. Though a decade of drought has made some species depart from the park, it still is home to many rare species of birds as is a haven for bird watchers.

We would be spending the following day also in bird watching. We would be going on a boat ride to explore all the nesting colonies of the birds in this park.

Today, after a last session of early morning bird watching and walk around the park, we would be leaving to Agra to see The Taj Mahal. Ensure to capture your time in one of the most romantic places on earth on your cameras! We would then embark on a city tour covering all important places in Agra like its Fort.

On day 9, we would board a train to Jhansi and reach Khajuraho. Named after the abundant Khajoor (Date palm) trees, this place is one among UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. It is said that it took around 100 years to complete the construction of the temples in Khajuraho. We would be visiting the Western Group of Temples on our arrival there.

The sculptures and figures carved in these temples are so elegant and magnificent that it never fails to astound the tourists who visit it on an India cultural tour. Though many temples are now in ruins, the 6 main temples in the Western Group of Temples are still intact and known for its war against time.

We would be leaving for Bandhavgarh National Park on day 10. On arrival, we would be checking-in to the resort where you can freshen up. We would then go on a jungle tour. Bandhavgarh is famous and well known for its tiger reserve. This area was a hunting space till late 1968 after which an act banned the hunting of animals and this area was protected and declared as a national park. It later became a Tiger reserve in an attempt by the government to preserve the tigers. It derives its name from the famous fort in that area.

We would go on a morning and evening exploration into the national park to spot tigers and the other animals like Nilgai, Chital, Leopards, Deer, Chinkara, Wild Boar, Fox and Jackal. It has more than 37 species of animals and 350 species of avifauna.

Overnight stay in: Bandhavgarh National Park

Early morning on day 12, we would leave for Kanha National Park from Bandhavgarh. This national park was established in the year 1955 and was declared a tiger reserve in 1973. It has a spread of 950 sq.km. This place is famous for its Bengal Tigers, Leopards, sloth bear, barasingha and many other varieties of deer. We would be checking-in to the resort as soon as we arrive to freshen. The rest of the day is for you to relax.

We would be spending the next three days exploring the wilderness and getting ourselves acquainted with the wildlife of this region. We will also get lots of opportunities to capture photographs of tigers in their natural habitats.

We would also go on an elephant safari and ride and try to spot animals from that height!

Meals included: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Today, we would go on a final morning tour around the park before bidding adieu to the animals here. After that, we would be driving to Nagpur.
