This Golden Triangle with Amritsar Golden Temple & Himalayan Foothills tour has been carefully designed to give you a taste of the exciting, endless possibilities and can be tailored to suit your exact preferences.
You will be arriving in Delhi for your Golden Triangle with Amritsar & Himalayan Foothills tour, from where our representatives will transfer you to the domestic flight to Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar, you would be escorted by our local representatives and transferred to the hotel. You can freshen up and relax a bit before we start our trip to the Wagah Border.
The flag ceremony is one of the most patriotic things you could see here. Held just before sunset, this parade is fun and unique experience for all age groups. The event is too colorful to watch with flag-running and women dancing. The cheering on both sides makes the event more exciting. We will be part of the flag lowering ceremony happening in the evening.

Today we would be going on a sightseeing tour in Amritsar. One of the most important religious places of the Sikhs, this place is popular for its Golden Temple or the Sri Harmandir Sahib. Taking a dip in the sacred water, Amrit Sarovar and partaking one meal (langar) in the temple is considered very sacred. It is worth noting that more than 80,000 pilgrims are fed daily in the temple premises. The temple is breathtakingly beautiful with a blend of Hindu and Muslim architectural pattern and intricate gold engraved panels. The dome itself is made of a whopping 750kg guild of gold. The sanctum sanctorum with the backdrop of spiritual music and verses from the Guru Granth Sahib is sure to connect you with the divine and give you the feeling of eternal bliss.
We would then visit the Jallianwala Bagh, the place which saw thousands get massacred during the British reign in 1919 during the Baisakhi festival. The memorial is a simple but heart-wrenching ode to the countless innocent victims who lost their lives on that fateful day.
We would then travel back to the Golden Temple and be a part of the Palki Sahib. This is the ceremony wherein the holy book of the Sikhs, the Guru Granth Sahib is carried in a procession and put on a bed. The procession is an everyday process and happens with a lot of pomp and show. The temple is a picture of stunning beauty and absolute radiance during the night with the lights reflecting onto the waters and making it glitter and radiate. You would be going back to your hotel where you would stay for the night
Overnight stay in: Taj Swarna Amritsar
On the 3rd day morning, we would be escorting you to the railway station to board a train to Ambala from where you will then be driven to Shimla. You would be checked-in to the hotel and the rest of the day is for you to relax. We would have planned a lot of activities for the next two days.
The next two days, we would be spent exploring the town of Shimla and feast on the splendour of the place. Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh is one of the gorgeous hill-stations of India. You haven’t seen everything till you haven’t explored the train journey to the town of Kandaghat. We would be taking you on this breathtaking journey filled with ecstatic views and enthralling beauty coupled with the cool and pleasant climate. You can do loads of shopping in the Mall road which is the heart of Shimla and is a centre of all activities happening in this place. This is the place you must be for its shops, the mix of new and old and for the amazing spices and stuff you get. The additional bonus of being a no-vehicle zone would give you complete freedom and space to roam and explore the ancient heritage buildings and churches in this area. The colonial houses lined up in rows form an amazing view to behold.

Today, after breakfast we would travel to Chandigarh from where you will board a flight to Delhi. On arrival, you would be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal.

After a complimentary morning meal and get ready for your road journey to Agra- the city of the Taj Mahal.
This ivory-white marble monument which was built by Shah Jahan, in remembrance of his wife Mumtaz Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The masterpiece took approximately 21 years to get completed in all forms. And the result was an unrivalled piece of art and architecture.
Agra Fort is the next place on the itinerary to be visited.

On the 8th day, you would be driven to Ranthambore National Park. If you want to spot Bengal tigers, this is the best place to do so. Our India Golden Triangle with Amritsar & Himalayan foothills tour would now divert from sightseeing to wildlife exploration.
Established in the year 1955, this national park is one of the most popular tourist attractions due to its abundance of the big cats. Over the next two days, we would be exploring wildlife and going on tiger trails in this national park. The best timing for tiger spotting at Ranthambore is between October and May. You would be enjoying game drives in the morning and afternoons here for the next two days.
Ranthambore is home to many rare and exotic species of animals and birds. Apart from the large population of tigers, some of the other most common animals you would spot here are Chintals, Sloth Bears, Caracals, Jackals, Foxes, Blue Bull Antelope, Sambhar, Rhesus Macaque and many others. The birds commonly sighted in this region are Serpent Eagles, Indian Gray Hornbills, Great Crested Grebe and Cormorants among many others.
Overnight stay in: Sher Bagh Camp
After your last game drive in Ranthambore National Park early in the morning, it is time to bid adieu to the wilderness of Ranthambore as our Golden Triangle Tour with Amritsar Shimla and Ranthambore is almost over. We would be driving you to Jaipur Airport from where you would board a flight to Delhi.
You would be staying in Delhi for the day and are free to explore the nearby places and do some local shopping. The rest of the day is at your disposal.
